Implementing Our Vision
Evangelism- We are a church that believes we
are here not for ourselves but for the world. We
structure our ministry in way that will reach people
from all walks of life and backgrounds.
Discipleship- We are committed to building people up
in Christ for the Kingdom of God. In all of our various
ministries the ultimate goal is developing the individual
into a person of purpose and destiny for God.
Opportunity- We do not believe the kingdom is for a few
individuals but for everyone. We are committed to giving
people the opportunity to show the world that the
kingdom of God is real in whatever way God has
gifted them to do so.
Celebration- We believe in celebrating God
through praise and worship, his mighty acts
and his people, we are a church that values
celebration and we celebrate God as much
as possible.
Vision Statement
The vision for the Shepherd's Pasture for
All Nations Church is inspired by the Holy
Spirit through Luke 17:20-21.
Once having been asked by the Pharisees
when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus
replied,"The Kingdom of God does not come
with your careful observation, nor will people
say, here it is, or there it is, because the
Kingdom of God is within you.” (NIV)
In this passage, Jesus was challenged with a question
on when would the Kingdom of God arrive. Jesus’s
response was a response that told thePharisees that they
were looking for the wrong kind of Kingdom of God. The
Pharisees were looking for a Kingdom that would have a
geographical location. However, Jesus told them that as long
as they looked for that type of kingdom they would never find
it. The type of kingdom that God has established for us on Earth
starts with the work of God’s Spirit in our hearts and our lives.
We at the Shepherd’s Pasture for All Nations believe that even
though the Kingdom of God that Jesus preached about is a
spiritual kingdom, it is a very real and concrete Kingdom that
manifests itself when the believer adheres to the Kingdom
principles given to us by Jesus Christ. Principles such as the
ones Christ gave to the world during His sermon on the mount.
It is God’s desire for our church to seek the lost and strengthen
believers by showing them the Kingdom of God in tangible ways.
